Minimum Wages in Andhra Pradesh Hospitals

This query concerns Minimum Wages (MW) applicable to hospitals in Andhra Pradesh. The AP Government, via GOM 68 dated 08/12/2011, revised the Basic Wage and Cost of Living Allowance (a copy of GOM is attached). However, it was published in the AP Gazette on 19/03/2012 and was declared for implementation only for Minimum Wages revised on 01/04/2013 (please refer to the attached Order N1/1393/2012-II published in the AP Gazette).

I have attached workings on Minimum Wages as of 01/04/2013 and 01/10/2013. It is observed that in some categories, such as Staff Nurse (BSc) and Lab Technician, the wage hike is substantial. Can someone advise if these calculations are correct? I will be grateful for your help.

To verify the accuracy of the wage calculations for Staff Nurse (BSc) and Lab Technician in Andhra Pradesh hospitals, you can cross-reference the revised Minimum Wages set by the AP Government with the calculations provided. Here are the steps to ensure the correctness of the calculations:

1. Review the Government Order (GOM 68): Ensure that the basic wage and cost of living allowance revisions mentioned in GOM 68 dated 08/12/2011 align with the calculations for 01/04/2013 and 01/10/2013.

2. Check the Gazette Publications: Confirm that the revisions published in the AP Gazette on 19/03/2012 and Order N1/1393/2012-II for 01/04/2013 are accurately reflected in the calculations.

3. Compare with Updated Minimum Wages: Cross-verify the wage hike percentages for Staff Nurse (BSc) and Lab Technician with the officially revised Minimum Wages effective from 01/04/2013 to ensure consistency.

4. Consult HR Experts: If needed, seek advice from HR professionals or consultants well-versed in Andhra Pradesh labor laws to validate the calculations and provide insights on any discrepancies.

By following these steps and consulting relevant sources, you can determine the correctness of the wage calculations and address any discrepancies effectively.
