Dear all,

Suddenly, our Managing Director's father passed away. Today in the office, we held a two-minute condolence meeting with the entire team.

Should I now send an email to our Managing Director informing him about the condolence meeting or should I convey the message through a company communication? Please advise me on the best course of action.

Regards,
Srilatha

Purchase a condolence card for the Managing Director with very interesting and supportive words. You can even add more words than those already there. Then let each member of staff from the office affix his/her signature expressing their condolence. The Manager will be able to look at this card many years later and remember his staff.
