It is a wonderful presentation that gives a glimpse of employee attrition and ways to track it earlier to try to resolve. Thank you for sharing such a nice presentation.

Attrition Rate in India

Attrition rate in India is actually increasing year by year. We have observed that hygiene factors like appreciation and recognition take precedence over monetary factors such as the incentive system and paying overtime for higher-level employee groups. Still, the monetary factor remains a significant tool to address attrition in certain trades.

Once again, thank you, Mr. Chaitanya, for sharing this informative presentation.

One of the major reasons for attrition is that many leave looking for greener pastures. I have seen many people change their jobs every one or two years with the sole intention of getting higher pay packets. To those who indulge in this practice, I have a word of advice: remember that a "rolling stone gathers no moss." It is not a good idea to change jobs too often for salary alone. There are many things more important and valuable than money. The younger generation should realize this.

Please remember this is only a suggestion. Members can accept or reject it. I leave it to your discretion.

I want to know about the following:

1. Bonus not paid for the last year without any reason - can it be withheld for any reason?
2. Salary details/statement are not given to the confirmed employee.
3. Can a confirmed employee be terminated for non-performance?

Thanks,
