Hi Experts, I would like to attend an interview this week. Can anybody help me with interview questions about recruitment/selection and payroll? Kindly provide information on "which type of questions are asked in interviews about Recruitment, Payroll processes, and training and development."
This is my humble request to all, please post the answers as early as possible.
Thanks in advance.

What is Recruitment and Staffing?
What is Talent Management?
Do you have any idea about Recruitment Outsourcing?
What is Recruitment Mapping and Market Mapping?
What is the formula for Recruitment ROI?
What are the Various Sources in Recruitment?
Do you have any idea about Recruitment MIS and Attrition Analysis?
Can you explain to me the pre-recruitment activities and post-recruitment activities?
Can you explain the criticalities in recruitment?
Have you participated in a Recruitment Audit? If yes, can you explain the process you are following?
What are Salary, CTC, Retrials, Variable Pay, and Perks?
Define wage, standard wage, basic wage, and minimum wage.
What are the statutory components involved in payroll, and for whom will it be applicable?
What is the maximum limit portion for HRA, CCA, Medical, and Children Education Allowance?
Is there any difference between DA and VDA?
Is DA applicable for?
How do you do payroll reconciliation?
What are the sub-departments and departments that need to coordinate to run the payroll?
Can you explain the payroll process?
As per the law, what are the cutoff dates to release the salaries for the employees?

Anyway, greetings for your intention. Just have a look into the below issues:
1. Get enough information on which company you are going to have an interview. If all employees are getting more than 15,000/- salary per month, there is no need to focus on ESIC.
2. PF: The PF department deducts 12% of every employee's basic salary, and for those whose basic is more than 6,500/- per month, the PF department will deduct only 780/-.
3. Apart from these things, you should also look into the salary structure.
4. Focus on compensation.
Thanks & regards,
