I lost my PAN card No AFLPB0414M. What can I do to get a new card? The original card was issued while I was serving in the INDIAN ARMY, THE MADRAS REGIMENT at Ooty, Ward 1 (2), OOTY. I received a letter from the Income Tax authority for the issuance of a PAN card, but I couldn't obtain the same. Therefore, I am reaching out to you for guidance on the necessary steps to obtain a new PAN card.

Hi Bose You shall request for re-issue of the pancard with the same number. All you need is address & id proof. If you have copy of existing copy that will be better
