Dear sir An earn leave calculation made on Min.wages+DA+ (or) any alownces ? Chetan

In my view, the calculation should be based on the full wages drawn by him, averaged on the basis of the number of days he worked in the month preceding the date from which he proceeds on leave.

In case of EL encashment, take only the basic wage and DA. However, the concerned employee may avail leave, and he is eligible to receive full wages (Basic + DA + all allowances) along with his regular wages.

I think your query is about leave salary for the earned leave availed by the employee, as well as the encashment of earned leave. In any case, I beg to slightly differ from Saikumar and Ramaswamy. Certain specific allowances paid for day-to-day work need to be excluded from the leave salary.
