Hi, This is an interesting program being conducted by - The School of Leadership. I am sure it will benefit trainers and HR professionals but what do you think about the fee....is it ok?

It all depends on how it is conducted and the content. I am sure price can be negotiated. Usually outbound is an expensive affair.

Hi,
It has become a practice to give an impressive and suggestive name to lure prospective participants and charge hefty amounts as a participation fee. Instead, they must prune expenses, reduce pomp and show, and charge a reasonable fee to encourage more people to participate and benefit from such programs.

Dear Dr. Vasudeva Reddy,
Prices of products or services should always be left to the market to decide. It is competition that determines pricing. May I remind you of the famous saying, "Everything is worth what its purchaser will pay for it" by Publilius Syrus (~100 BC, a Latin writer of Maxims).
If a company is confident in its products or services, it will never lower its prices. A classic example is the telecom giant Airtel. Despite competitors offering lower tariffs, this company has maintained its original pricing. Whether this decision was right or wrong can be evaluated by examining the company's balance sheet. So far, they have proven themselves right, and the company still stands out among others. Will they continue to do so in the future? Only time will tell!
Another example is the logistics giant FedEx. A couple of years ago, while local companies offered a service for Rs 400/-, FedEx provided the same service for Rs 1,600/-. However, the local companies remained local and did not expand globally, while FedEx has experienced substantial growth.

I think this platform must not be used to advertise. For advertisements, sidebars must be used with a nominal payment. If one is trying to make a hefty sum out of advertising, why should one shy away from it? It is a shame that such lowly tactics are adopted to lure innocents into making a big profit. However, if you want to disseminate concise, free knowledge for the benefit of the masses in social camps, one should be allowed, and a separate thread should be started for the same purpose. People will share their own expenses, and it will be the greatest publicity. Whoever is interested will join your regular stream. This platform must not be used to raise private profit. All such posts/threads must be moderated.
