I wanted to know about the conveyance exemption. I know that as per the act, conveyance exemption is Rs. 800/- p.m.
Example 1: If an employee is getting a conveyance allowance of Rs. 800/- p.m. and he is on leave for 15 days, he only receives Rs. 400 as conveyance allowance.
Example 2: If an employee is getting a conveyance allowance of Rs. 3000/- p.m. and he is on leave for 15 days, he only receives Rs. 1500 as conveyance allowance.
Example 3: If an employee is handicapped and getting a conveyance allowance of Rs. 800/- p.m.
Kindly suggest how conveyance exemption will be calculated in the above examples.
