This is Jayakumar, working as a senior HR executive with MLM Co. I am confused about which designation would be suitable for our employees who are engaged in process or back-office work, such as data entry jobs. Can you advise on a more appropriate designation for them?

Hi Jaya,
You can go ahead with designations for such kinds of roles either as an Executive or Officer. For example, if an employee works on processes, you can designate him as an Executive, and if it's data entry work, you can designate them as an Officer. Additionally, the designation structure should be mapped according to the experience levels.
Please do revert for any more queries.

Thanks for your reply. In my company, there has been no performance appraisal for the past few years, and I want to establish it properly. However, I am unsure of how to evaluate their performance because the majority of employees are engaged in data entry processes. Could you please advise me on any alternative methods to accomplish this task more easily?
