Please advise me about ESIC. What is the current rate of deduction and the maximum amount to deduct? I am sharing with you some information from Dainik Jagran newspaper; it is really interesting.

Current rate is Rs. 10000 or less(Basic+DA.HRA +other earnings) salary. 1.75% from employee side and 4.75% from employer side. Best Regards Sajid Ansari

In the present scenario, if an employee's salary is up to Rs. 10,000.00, then they are eligible for ESIC contribution. 1.75% will be deducted from their salary, and 4.75% will be contributed by the employer.
