Is privilege leave is entitled as per the designation within an organization, like if Manager is getting 18 General Manager 30,is it possible.

Hi,
If you are a factory, you have to give one paid leave for every 20 working days of the employee, as per the Factories Act. If you are under the Shops and Establishment Act, you have to give:
1. Privilege leave of 15 days
2. Casual leave of 12 days
3. Sick leave of 12 days
during the one year of services. The above leaves are to be given as per the above Acts irrespective of the designation of the employees. It is at the employer's discretion to give more leaves to designated employees above and beyond the specified leaves.
