Hi All,

I have been studying M.B.A (HR) and working on a project in a software training institute. I have been assigned to develop Key Result Areas of Employees. There are around 90 employees. I have started with determining the roles and responsibilities of various designations.

I would be really grateful if someone could help in developing a questionnaire as I have to conduct a survey. Please, could someone let me know the procedure? I have taken the assignment confidently, believing that I have support from the HR community on this site. I have been given a deadline until 03.02.2006.

Dear Dipak,

Whether you want Key Result Area or Key Responsibility Area. Key Result Area as follow:-

· Performance & Development Review System at company is a 3 tier system comprising of following:

o Objective and Goal Setting

o Self, Peer & Superior Review of Accomplishments

o Potential Development

· The system will focus on specific Key Result Areas and objectives each year that are necessary for the success of the organization.

· The system gives an opportunity to individuals to express his/her career aspirations in the organization.

· The individual will have a realistic picture of his strengths and weaknesses and negotiate a joint action plan for development to, overcome these weaknesses, to be more effective.

· The system will be transparent and performance will be discussed through an Interview.

During the year, the superior and subordinate are required to review the performance on KRAs and objectives set. There is an opportunity to modify them, as an exception in case of an influence that might impinge on the business. The review must be done once a quarter formally, so that the superior and subordinate are very clear as to the progress of negotiated KRAs and objectives.

Thanks a lot for the piece of information. So, I got to know where exactly I have to start from. However, one thing that I could not understand is what sort of questions can be used to conduct the survey and find the answers from employees.

Hi everyone,

Can you please help me make a very good PowerPoint presentation about the Quality Performance Appraisal and Monitoring System? I am joining our company's business innovation, and I would like to use the latter as my entry. This is based on our department's Key Result Areas (KRA). By the way, our company does not currently focus much on KRA, which is why I would like to introduce this to our management. I am presently working as an accounting supervisor in a Japanese company here in the Philippines.
