Hi Smrin,
Do you have a proper pantry in your office with shelves and a refrigerator? Snacks that can be used in the office may include:
1. Biscuits
2. Wafers
3. Chips (banana, tomato, etc.)
4. Cold drinks (big bottle)
5. Chakli
6. Mixtures (chiwda)
7. Dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds) if required
Also, please ensure paper plates and plastic spoons are available in the pantry.

Well, we used to have a refrigerator in my previous company with a good collection of food items. In fact, whenever we felt demotivated, we would go and pick things from there. It was a simple method that we practiced.
Each one of us would provide a list of items we needed, usually once or twice a month. For example, wafers, Tropicana, Perk (we used to get the big box), etc., and store them in the refrigerator. The amount used to be deducted from our salary based on the individual's list provided to HR. Yes, we only took things we had ordered.
Apart from that, we used to get snacks from our office twice a day along with a tea/coffee break. In the morning, we would have 2 biscuits and coffee. In the evening, we would have tea with snacks that varied every day, such as Kesari, mixture, sandwich, groundnuts, etc. All these snacks were provided by the company.
I would suggest considering the following items:
- Lemon Iced tea powder
- Pringles/Lays
- Wafers/chocolate box
- Corn
- Tropicana/Real/Saint
- Corn puffs
- Biscuits - Good Day/Milk Bikis
- An occasional pani puri
Please let me know if you need any more information or assistance.

When all the employees are health-conscious, keep healthy snacks like diet bhel, roasted chana, fruits, dried fruits, and nuts, roasted chivda, popcorns, whole grain crackers, etc.
You can also keep muesli and other breakfast cereals for those with a sweet tooth as they make a great snack and are healthy too.

i think sandwiches are the best for workplace...not pakoras and samoosas!! those things can be kept for occasional changes in the menu, mostly sandwiches, burgers etc.

Go for non-perishable items like biscuits, chips, avoid samosas(though they are irresistible)

I feel you should keep some healthy snacks like roasted namkeens, non-fried food, 5-grain biscuits, and corn flakes. Also, you can have some energy drinks such as Red Bull, Cloud 9, etc. in the office.

Hi,
If you are responsible for providing these items for employees on behalf of the company, then you should maintain a standard selection that can also be offered to guests and visitors when necessary. Consider keeping snacks like groundnuts and chana, which are low in calories. Additionally, having salads and lemons in the fridge can provide a healthy boost of energy to employees. In my office, we often bring fruits and salads to share with each other.

Good evening,
With reference to your query, the best product that should be munched is something that doesn't make one chubby (especially if one has a sitting job). It's beneficial to carry fruits along as they serve your purpose of munching and will also be good for your health.

Hi,
You can think about veg and fruit salad too. Even though it is perishable, the purchase should be linked to consumption. You should also take into consideration whether the initiative is employer-sponsored or if the employee needs to pay (The reception to this initiative varies on this parameter). If employees need to pay, you need to check with them if this initiative is fine with them and identify the consumption level based on their response. If it is sponsored, you can start with a reasonable quantity and create awareness that the same is available. Furthermore, you can add or reduce the purchase accordingly. Above all, it is healthier.
Hope this information is useful to you.

Hi Smrin,
As suggested by Madam Asha Mathew, there could be two aspects of providing snacks to the employees in the office. One - arranged by the employees contributing themselves (possible only for a small group/office) and another - from the company's side. In the first case, please consult your group members and choose among a variety of snacks available in the market according to a decided budget of the contributors. In the latter case, it depends on the organization size and management policies. There is a practice that prevails to provide snacks at Tea Break(s) based on a pre-decided menu. Some options, apart from those suggested by the forum members - Boiled egg(s), Assorted/Bread Pakoras, Veg/non-veg Sandwich, Veg. Cutlets, Bread-Butter Toast, Bread Slices with marmalade/jelly/jam, etc., may be considered.

Please note that if the snacks are to be sold, then you will need to comply with the Shops and Establishment Act. It is important to adhere to the MRP (Maximum Retail Price) regulations.
If snacks will be cooked, you will need approvals from the municipality or comply with the Factory Act.
If packed snacks are to be given for free, I am not sure if there will be any issues.

You can provide pastry, tea cake, or packed cake (Good Day cake), samosa, puff varieties, chips, cutlets, spring rolls, potato / tapioca chips, groundnut packs, fruit salads (In some Pazhamudir Solai shops, we can get fresh packs), sandwiches, varieties of biscuits. For a change, we can opt for sweet & mixture, vada, and bajji.

In my view, the first step is to find out the budget for the snacks, the working conditions, and the nature of employees. Based on that information, you can choose suitable snacks. I believe snacks should be healthy options. There are many snacks that contain protein, carbohydrates, and minerals, providing supplemental energy. Consuming bakery items may lead to obesity due to the presence of oil and unhealthy fats.

Biscuits are the best. Have some of these stocks always. Dry fruits and nuts will also work out. Get some dry fruits and nuts (almond, dry grapes, pista, cashew, etc.) and mix all together and store it in an airtight container. You can use it for a longer duration.
