Dear All, My company's strength is 40 employees, all of whom are young and experienced IT professionals. The company infrastructure is also good, but in my opinion, having a good infrastructure alone is not enough.

It is not a very difficult thing once you have the correct mindset and a thought to share with your 40 colleagues. Share the thoughts in a manner that would reflect some good outcomes and do it to show it. The leader always thinks of ways to get things done.

- A nice cleaning session, at least once a week.
- When talking about ergonomics, you should be able to teach your colleagues about their seating arrangement and the position of the chairs concerning the working tables.
- Discuss relaxing habits when sitting at the working table to ease tensions in the limbs and head.
- Relax while doing the job. Take your eyes off work and give them the required break.
- Talk about healthy eating rather than junk food: no room for burgers, chips, aerated drinks, etc. Cut down on coffee/tea, etc.
- If working late into the night, make sure to get enough rest before coming to the office the next day. Otherwise, you might make mistakes in your work.
- Encourage your colleagues to talk about the problems they face in their work cycle. Listen, discuss, and find solutions to ease difficult situations.
- Ensure the lighting is right so that your eyes do not strain against failing light or hurt because of glares and reflecting surfaces.
- Ample walking spaces and leg-stretch spaces during work are mandatory. These are just a few of the tips that can be given at the moment.

See if they work out well enough.

Regards,
Tarak.

Apart from the above, you may also consider organizing some useful lectures by doctors or experts on health-related topics, such as how to maintain work-life balance. This will help in building a conducive environment, and employees will feel that the company cares about them.

Hope it helps!
