Dear All,

I came across this situation very recently and wanted your opinion on the same. Does an employee need to show or submit a fitness certificate before joining work after a long sick leave which could extend between two weeks?

For not submitting, the reason could be why does he need to; he himself knows when he is fit. But in cases when an employee is coming back from Smallpox, Chickenpox, etc., wouldn't he need to submit a fitness certificate?

Waiting for your response.

Thanks & Regards

It would definately help to collect the same by which also you can check the authencity of the disease as well as fitness. So that his /her boss can allocate him/her pending work.
