Hello Sirs,
1. Please tell us the PF Transfer Procedure in case of exempted as well as the unexempted establishment?
2. Can a company (unexempted establishment) situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, on behalf of the employee, request their previous employer company (unexempted establishment) located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, to submit Form 13 for the transfer of PF accumulations and issue a Cheque/DD for the PF accumulations credited to the employee, sending these to the company (unexempted establishment) in Bangalore, Karnataka? In my opinion, the company in Bangalore, Karnataka, should submit the application to the Regional PF Commissioner in Jaipur, Rajasthan, using Form 13 to transfer the PF Accumulations to the new PF Account with the Regional PF Commissioner in Bangalore, Karnataka. There appears to be no involvement of the previous employer in this process; is this correct? If so, can we return the application to the company in Bangalore, Karnataka, stating that we are also an unexempted establishment, and it should be directly sent to RPFC in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
3. Please review the documents, provide instructions to the previous employer to complete the formalities for the transfer of PF Accumulations, and suggest the necessary steps.
Regards,

Hi,
Transfer: Form 13
Form 13 is used for transferring an employee's PF account from one company to another. Both the employer and employee have to specify their names, PF account numbers, positions, etc., and submit it with a covering letter (a consolidated list of employees). A photocopy of the above is kept in the PF file for transfer.
