Dear All,

Last week, one of my friends told me that Pondicherry University's MBA degrees will not carry value since the university is on the blocked list of MNCs and many domestic companies. He wanted to pursue an MBA from Pondicherry University but decided against it. Is it true that the university is on the blocked list of MNCs and many domestic companies? Can anybody clarify this?

With regards,
M. Mahesh

Pondicherry University is a central government university that has the statutory recognition of AICTE and UGC. It is more recognized than scores of private institutions that are operating without recognition from AICTE or UGC and charging huge fees, luring students with full-page ads. All rubbish and hogwash, guys, please don't believe this.

Hi, this is a rubbish comment as Pondicherry University is ranked No. 3 in India among government universities. And you have some of the best faculties. "Best" means the best, no compromise. I would confidently say that a Pondicherry Uni MBA-IB guy will know International Economics better than an IIM guy. Even our finance guys can understand derivatives better.
