Dear All HR fraternity
i Have a query to response from you that , If one Contract Labor was absent entire month then what would be the NCP days to mark in PF ECR as 26 days or 30 days. Ex. Total Days of the Month is 30 - Weekly Off 4 = ie 30-4 =26 NCP Days is it right? or 30 days to be shown in NCP days column ?
your early reply would definitely be appreciable

Hi Venu, PF ECR days should be month days i.e. 30 or 31 depends on number of days of the particular month. Regards, Avinash K.

Respected BOPPUDI VENU
i hope u in hurry so these are the answer to your questions
=you have to show 30 days in the NCP days column
before writing that you have to know 2 facts
1. what is week off ? = generally if u worked all working days in a week you'll get week off, according to this they did't worked on week days so no week off {who ever it may be (contract / regular), leaves rules are different case to case they get changes}
2. with a general commonsense Law was different for contract & regular employees. But in ECR upload the contractor will upload his/her employees data and the principal employer upload their regular employees data. some time principal employer HR team may upload the contractors employees details behalf of contractor the that HR person has to think in that terms that i am doing work behalf for others. (actually contractor & regular pay sheets were different & also the EPFO codes also has to be separate). so in ECR no difference for contract and regular.

If a member is absent for the entire month then the NCP days are 26 days only and not 30 or 31 days. Weekly holiday are not to be added for this purpose.
