Hi Everyone, I am having a doubt, is it mandatory to provide an Offer and Appointment Letter for an unskilled workman under Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition)? Please give me clarification.

Hi, it is mandatory for the contractor to provide an appointment letter. If the contractor does not provide one, the principal employer will be held liable. The appointment letter must be signed by the employee, and during a factory inspection, it will be checked whether the employees have received it.
