This company has a lot of politics. I can not take any decision. Production in charge will see all the security controls. For instance. I heard this and he looks at me mistakenly . If the management says this, they do not understand.

If you are becoming wary of office politics, then pl understand, it is normal . If it is not there and people strictly mind only their business then it is going to be an exception and odd entity. Also power flows to the person who exercises it. It is too early for you to expect all powers to come to you so soon, as it is only two months. As you are in a new set up try to understand the power structure and work your way out in a planned, sequenced manner. But if you feel the situation is hopeless, look for alternate avenues.

You need to be patient.It takes more than 2 months in any office to be known well and understood by all.
Your post is important and people will observe you.
So take the pains of meeting people,understanding issues and making yourself known.
Things will ease out once people know your effectiveness, decision making abilities etc.
There is no office without politics.
Only insecure people indulge in office politics.
Remember this and show your worth by good work.
