Hello All I am having problem regarding PF deduction. Can we deduct PF from Gross Salary excluding HRA?

PF deduct only on BASIC+DA. It will not deduct on gross salary only ESIC deduct on gross salary.

Dear sir Deduction of effort basic+d.a. Epf deduct one time after that if the basic+d.a up of the ceilling amount. We can not stop Deduction of epf

with regard to PF on gross the Madras High court has given the judgement in one of cases that Exclude the HRA all the allowances shall be the part of Wages for the chargability of PF however the review petition has been filed in supreme court. Hence this issue is awaiting on supreme court judgement whether PF contribution shall be mede inclusive allowances exclude the HRA or not. till then follow the existing wages definition as per sec 2(b) of the said act. charge PF on Basic plus DA?

You can do so. But what will happen is gross salary will be considered as basic salary for calculation of gratuity. This is so as you intend to deduct PF on gross salary whereas it is to be deducted on basic & DA, if any.
