I want to know period of meeting to be held in organisation under The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. if there is not complain raised by any one, it is compulsory to held the meeting.

Dear Sir,
There are not mentioned about Minutes of Meeting of Internal Committee as per act but the members of the Committee should meet at least four times in a year as per company service rules to-
-Provide and maintain a safe working environment at the workplace
-Organised two or more workshops annually to sensitize the employees and with the provisions of the Act and orientation programmes for members of the Committee
-Organized a counselling session on the issues of adjustment,harassment.
- Make an annual report

The law does not specify the number of meetings.However, a quarterly meeting is recommended so as to review the overall culture, environment, sensitization sessions, behavioural issues, etc.
The IC should work out various ways to improve work culture, improve behaviours, improve skills, plan training sessions, etc.
