Hi Seniors, I had worked in a small company as HR/Admin/EA profile for 2 years. although i had worked there with the basic knowledge of HR because it was a small firm and hardly there were any recruits or employee engaged. I want to pursue my career in HR field, i had not pursue any course in HR. i am confused. Seniors i required your suggestion to guide whether to choose this field.

Dear Vijaytakp11,
You have not written what is your qualification. Just your last assignment was in HR does not mean that you will pursue your career in HR. There are many job avenues available in Customer Service, Administration, Purchase, Sales etc.
I have seen many MBA (HR) working in other departments and doing exceedingly well. Career success depends on the following factors:
a) Strong desire to grow
b) Speed of learning
c) Willingness to learn something from other departments
d) Innovative mindset
e) Command over English
f) Reflection - avoiding the repetition of the mistakes and above all
g) Staying organised - good record management practices
With a positive attitude and common sense, you can attain the glorious heights of your career.
All the best!
