Hi team, I am working as HR in a retail pharmacy chain. Currently, we don't have a training calendar. I would like to create one. For example store manager's training program, leadership technique is my subject. Then how can I write the goal, objective, learning outcome?

Dear Allmed,
If you work in a retail pharmacy chain, then your No 1 priority is to map the supply chain of your company. After mapping the supply chain, you need to identify the nodes where the inventory is stored. Optimisation of the inventory is the goal of your organisation and consequently, it will be the goal of the training department as well.
The essence of the leadership of your retail managers will lie in the optimisation of the inventory. They can demonstrate it on the following counts:
a) Calculation of the inventory carrying cost at each node. This cost has to be balanced with the ordering cost.
b) Calculation of the cost of stock-out. This cost has to be balanced with the excess accumulation of the inventory.
c) Minimisation of the cost of shrinkage owing to deterioration, damage, pilferage etc.
Each manager of your company must know how to apply the relevant concepts of Supply Chain Management (SCM) to the business of your company. However, it is much easier said than done. Anyway, if you need any assistance, feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
