Dear Manaswita ,
Greetings !
If she is started acting like this recently then ask your HR person to talk to her and try to know her problem and rectify it, If she acts like this only then when ever you gets a complaint, issue her a show-cause notice. After two show-cause notice you can suspend her or terminate her.
Always remember " We hire people for skills but fire them for behavior faults ".....

Tell her the importance of Team building. If she will continue scolding the people and become the tough boss, she will never get the work in her absence. Everybody will feel that today our boss is not in the office, it is like holiday for us.
Tell her that she can learn the skill to done the work with polite words and appreciate her colleagues as and when she got opportunity. If she will not maintaining good relationship even with office boy than she will definately get negative wibes from all the team.

Dear....
Do not get in to more complications. Issue a "Red Slip" on a Companies Letter head signed by you (Location Head) or signed by the HR Head. Convey to her that, on the second Red Slip her salary will not be appraised in the coming appraisals and on the third Red Slip company will terminate you.
You can also suggest this procedure to your HR as a Disciplinary action, this will certainly help you out.

Hi,
There is a good proverb in India; Unity is the best policy! I think you all should get together and state a written complaint to the board management of your company which will alert them to peek again into the rules and written clauses of the company. Just inform right now!

Dear,
Stop talking to here let her be alone in organisation for few days. Then I think She will understand what is team and why we need team in oragnisation.
But do this by giving prior information to your HR team.
She need to understand the importance of people around her and also why we need to work as a team.

Dear Manaswita ,
Greetings !!!
One of the most easiest methods of showing disapproval just like others suggested is to either let the HR talk to her on a more formal way..maybe get her boss involved and then give her a strict warning..
Also a memo could be issued to her in which it is clearly stated that what and why and what instances she has behaved badly..
Sometimes she may not be aware that she is causing all this discomfort around her..soo in that case someone should make her aware..

Dear Manaswita
I can understand your problem, as i am also facing and have faced this earlier.
Managing people is very difficult and complicated, even though they might have good skill and were good worker before. Attitude and Behaviour will change due to professional and personal reasons.
Just find out what is wrong with her, why is she acting like that which was not the case before.
After doing the counselling, motivating, warning, issuing notices, giving less grade in the appraisals, esclating the matter to higher ups, nothing works, just issue a final warning notice and go as per the terms of the appointment order and terminate her.
Build a case file, record all the facts that you considered and measures that you took to retain her, this will help you in justifying your action.
All the very best,
Regards
