hi..
I believe "Head hunting / Poaching " is something which is catching up these days..as the competition between companies has started to grow strong..so do you believe head hunting brings up lot of effectiveness and efficiency to your work culture or work environment..

Dear Harleenmahajan,
Headhunting differs from poaching in that, while head hunting is done by an recruitment firm from a pool of personnel from different organisations, poaching is done from a single one. e.g. if X company search new recruit, a recruitment agency (services requested by X company) calls up two persons from firm A, B, C, D and E and makes them an offer, it is called headhunting- Headhunting is a legal way of poaching. If I leave firm A and invite my five ex-colleagues to join me in my new company, that is poaching- Employee Referral.
Poaching influence on work culture and work environment? This can lead to a change in culture. For example, recruiting 5-6 persons in a dept could lead to change in culture / environment...
I am working in a company, which recruited lot of staff from a direct competitors and actually this is causing a clash between the new and older staff. 'Older' staff is resigning because of this change in culture...

Hi Harleen,
There are many innovative HR policies, and the list is really long.
Head hunting and poaching have been used by HR people since a very long time and as an experienced HR professional I must tell that I believe Poaching is a very negative policy.
DO search in this site and you can find many innovative HR policies used in various industries.

Hi,
Now a days retention of employees and satisfying employees is more happening process in an organisation. Everybody are making new HR Policies to retain the employees such as fringe benefits. n also empowerment of employees, where employees have a freedom to take decision so that they become more responsible in their work and hence more attachment to organization.

The HR department knows you and your family inside out. And suppose they gift you two flash drives, one with your name, and the other with your wife's name laser-engraved on it. Wouldn't that make you feel special.

Hi All!!!
I have been associated with Citehr for a while now and am really impressed with the efforts taken by the people involved to keep this a happening place.
Secondly all credit to the participants who share valuable information, news and thoughts without misusing, misrepresenting or posting junk or vulgarity.
Keep the good work guys..... all the best.
I would like to seek a favor or help from any one who could offer.
I am at the moment unemployed due to health reasons (diabetic) and not in a position to support my family and especially my daughter's education. I would be obliged if any one could recommend a genuine home based data entry website without investment.
Thanks
