Hi to all...Correct me if i am wrong...
Ya its very useful to know each and every members how to safe guard from lightening..
First of all lighting (Current)occurs due to collision of clouds (positive and negative charged particles ). These charged particle travels to ground level with possible shortest route, where there is less resistance, for example where there are tall building structure, tall trees and open area. Because now a days in all tall structure, lighting arrestor are connected on top of the structure, so that when lighting hits to this safety device, the device will divert to lightning into ground.. Basic understanding is that lighting arrestor should be fixed on top and its connected to ground with proper cable or strip.

Lightning is an unexpected and unpredictable thing you can't make sure or you can't decide what will happen when thunder roaring. So you have to take precaution as you won't go out until the rain stops.

@Kesava Pillai,
I come across the enclosed Electrical Safety Handbook published by CEA. While going through the same I come across the topic "Precautions Against Lightning - Page 33 to 36" and thought of posting it here.
This visit leads me to your YouTube channel as well. Really glad to see that.
Looking forward to keeping connected. Thanks.
