CTC Total of all prerequisite and fringe benefits which an employee gets from the company including salary. It is the sum of Gross Salary, Bonus, Prerequisites and other benefits. Gross Salary includes basic pay and allowances like cell phone, travel and entertainment.. Overall gross salary is a part of CTC...

Dear Lokesh,
As per my knowledge Gross Salary is the amount before deduction and it includes: Take home salary + employee's share of PF and ESI contribution (as applicable).
While CTC is a total cost which an organization spend on an employee, so here in Gross salary we have to add organization share of PF, ESI and bonus + other allownces like LTA/Med etc.
Somebody correct if this is not OK
Thank You.
