I am working in company as a hr executive . Recruitment part is major here so i don't have much knowledge about payroll because there is no deduction of pf , esi etc. Now I want to move in generalist profile or payroll. Is this possible to join any company without any payroll experience. My recruiter experience will be count or not. Kindly suggestion for my better future.
Thanks,
Geeta.

@ Geeta09,
Good Afternoon....!!!!
It depends up on the HR Hierarchy of company you will be joining. First if they have many department like Recruitment, Induction & Pay-roll, Compliance then you will get experience of all HR related activities through your colleges.
Most Important part is when facing a interview of HR Generalist profile how good you prove yourself as Pay rolling Executive. Means, If you don't have experience but you have basic knowledge about PF, ESIC, PT & if you show your interest in your generalist profile you will surely get a job.
Anyways don't worry your experience of recruiter will not go anywhere when you are applying for HR Generalist profile. As HR Generalist profile means all above activity (Including recruitment) what I have mentioned.
All the best.

Dear Geeta,
As an HR Executive- Generalist, one will have to be acquainted with Pay Roll work.
By learning, you will become expert in the filed. This will create more avenues for your career.
Try to learn , you will succeed.
