Hi, can somebody please tell me if it's okay to change an employee's status from full-time (exempt) to part-time (non-exempt)? What kind of agreement should we use? Can you send me the template?

Greetings,
You can change someone's employment status as long as you are not violating any labor laws or discrimination laws. You can only change an exempt to non-exempt or the other way if the job description changes or job duties change. The exempt to non-exempt status is in their job duties and not in a title. I would advise you to consult a labor attorney on this so you do not get yourself in trouble.
