Something like - I am happy to be a part of this new workplace and hope that this would be of mutual benefit. Or I look forward to a great working experience! Or just introduce yourself and say how happy you are to be a part of the company.
I am not here to point out if what was requested by you is right or wrong. But, not every time you will have people to help you even with small things.
Please draft a letter yourself. Put in all that you would like to say. Save that letter on your desktop, have a cup of coffee, look back at it, and modify it! There you are! None of us can help you with a better one than that.
I can say one thing... make sure it communicates you are happy to be a part of the group and eventually look forward to working along with highly talented professionals. Make them feel good about reading it. That's it!
