Could someone suggest a designation that would fall between Head of Sales and Sales Manager? The Head of Sales is responsible for handling the entire sales operation/department. I am seeking a unique title, not General Manager, VP, or Senior Manager.

No .. Head sales would be a person who is responsible for the overall activity in sales. Some designation which is in between head and manager... unique name .. more on strategic side. Regards Asmita

1) Head - Strategic Command
2) [Word to fill the blank] - Strategic Command (I want a word for the dotted lines, and that person will fall between the head and manager)
3) Manager - Strategy Deployment
You have given a great suggestion, but it does not fit in with what I am looking for. Can you suggest a word that fits the dotted lines?

I would suggest this. You can do one thing - change the designation of the present "Head - Strategic Command" to "Director - Strategic Command," then followed by "Head - Strategic Command" and "Manager - Strategy Deployment." Think it sounds okay?
