Hi,
I am Sree, working as an HR Generalist Fresher. I am keen to explore statutory compliance. My current knowledge in this area is nil. Can anyone help me understand PF, Gratuity, ESI, CLS (form numbers, and schedule of returns, etc.)? Can anybody suggest if there are any certificate courses or training programs in Hyderabad for the same? This will give me an edge in my career as well as knowledge.
Thank you,
Sree

Basically, most of the Acts are central Acts. The procedures for implementing the provisions of the Act are framed in the Rules. Acts such as EPF, ESI, Maternity Benefits Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, and similar Acts have central rules/schemes that are applicable throughout India. In the case of Factories Rules, there may be changes. The Shops and Establishments Act is a state Act, and the rules are also framed by the respective State Government only.
To begin with, it is better to contact the concerned government official, such as the Inspector of Factories & Boilers, Labour Welfare Fund Inspector, Labour Officer, etc., in your area. Maintaining a good relationship with these officials would always benefit you. You can obtain the necessary forms from the office free of cost.
