Dear All,
Please help....
I am working in a TPA (Third-Party Administrator Company). Basically, it is in the service industry. My company withdrew a holiday and adjusted it against another day. We gave an internal circular in our corporate office that we are declaring x day as a holiday in lieu of y holiday. Is it right? Because at the beginning of the year, we declared y day as a holiday. But due to certain circumstances, we gave a holiday on x day. Is it the right practice?

Dear Manmath,
Generally, an organization finalizes holidays for the forthcoming year well in advance and displays them on the notice board. Changing holidays is very rare. If a valid reason exists, it can be accepted. However, if it is done regularly without any valid reason, then it is not correct.
