Dear All, Please let me know about, If an employee is working for national holiday, how much the employee should get the wages for that national holiday?

As per the Payment of Wages Act, if a worker has worked on holidays, they must be paid overtime at the rate of double the normal wages.

Normally, as per practice, compensatory leave is provided for supervisory and administrative staff.

Dear All,

Please let me know about the Employee Provident Fund Pension Scheme. How do we calculate the pension, or what is the formula for the pension amount?

For example, if 'x' has completed 15 years of service and is receiving a gross salary of Rs 22,000/- with a basic salary of Rs 13,200/- (In our company, P.F. will deduct Rs 6,500/- only), how much pension will he receive if he leaves the job now?
