Dear Friends,
This is Gopi from Pondicherry. I am working as an HR Manager in a leading MNC BPO. We are all posting comments, giving suggestions, and gaining knowledge from this CiteHR.
I have a small suggestion: why don't we meet in our own local places, like HR professionals from Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and others, to initiate a meet for local members in CiteHR? By organizing such meetings locally, we can expand this initiative to a state and national level. We can also invite our CiteHR board members as guests.
Dear friends, I am ready to organize a meet in Chennai from my side. If anyone is interested in helping me organize this, please reach out.
Let us make this forum a platform to organize our functional professions. I welcome suggestions and comments.
Please call me at 9994066885.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Guys,
I think Gopi is right. We should appreciate his point as we know each other very well, and many of us are familiar with each other in one way or another. Then why not meet at a particular place?
I am from Delhi, and I am ready to take the initiative. If someone wants to join hands, please come forward. I am ready to make more and more friends.
So, what do you think, guys?

Dear all,
I'm Sunil from Chennai, working as an HR executive for a leading consultancy service. I would like to appreciate Mr. Gopi for his initiative in making CiteHR a hub for all HR professionals to share their ideas, interact with people from various cultures, and exchange knowledge.
Is there anyone apart from Gopi and myself who can take initiative?
Regards,
Sunil Kumar Jadala

Hi Gopi,
What a coincidence!
Looks like I almost copied your posting. This idea of having a CiteHR meet has been in my mind for quite some time. In fact, this morning (sitting at home), I decided to put my idea onto the site for open discussions.
I put it under another heading "Day Life."
I was looking at a much bigger gathering, possibly in Mumbai (because that is where I believe the Administrator is based - it is my perception!).
Here is what I posted in Day Life:
"Hi All,
Just a thought...
Can we have a CiteHR meet where most of us could meet, get to know each other, and discuss and share thoughts? Of course, it would be an unimaginable task logistically and how to find the budget for this?
Obviously (that is what I think), it has to be in Mumbai. It could be just a half-day meet on a non-working day with lunch. Request thoughts, suggestions, etc., on the feasibility. I wish CiteHR administrator would be the first to pen his thoughts.
And last but not least, if the "bloggers" on a Malayalam site could meet in Kochi and register their protests against the blocking of certain sites and get to know each other better, why not the Cite Family?
Thanks and Wishing All a Happy and Peaceful Independence Day.
Bala"
I wish more of us would join and discuss and arrive at a plan.
Thanks once again, Gopi.
