Dear Friends,

Can anybody brief me about the procedure of PF withdrawal or transfer that is practically followed, not just a bookish explanation? I need to know when we should apply for PF withdrawal, what documents are required at that time, and any other relevant information in detail.

Thank you in anticipation.

Nisha

Nisha,

If you don't apply for PF withdrawal, how will you get back your money that the employer has been deducting from your salary?

Procedure for withdrawal of PF:

1) The process of PF withdrawal can be done after 2 months from the date the employee leaves the service.

2) Form 19 & Form 10C must be filled out and submitted along with Form 3A for the financial years the employee has worked for the organization.

3) From the date of submission of these forms, it will take a minimum of 30 days for the amount to be credited to your account.

I hope I have answered your query.

Dear Nisha,

The information given by Prathima is correct for withdrawal. In case of PF transfer, Form 13 (Revised) is required and to be submitted to the concerned PF Authorities after joining the new organization.

Every time I enter any code, it gives the same reply "Your Claim Not Received by this Office!" Does this site actually work?

If it is showing that message, then check with authorities whether they actually received your claim. If you have submitted very recently, then do wait for a few more days. You know how our respected government people work, "It always takes time."

Dear Friends,

The procedure for PF withdrawal is available on the PF site. The status of the application can also be known. What if the employer is not willing to sign the PF withdrawal forms and does not cooperate with an ex-employee? The PF department does not accept application forms that are not attested by previous employers. What is the course of action the employee has? In many cases, even the PF number is denied to him. How does he approach the PF department?

Can somebody inform me how to get PF amount return if the employer does not endorsed in FORM 19 & 10C Regards Anindya

Mr. Pinto,

One of the alternatives in this situation is to transfer the PF to the PF account of your current company. For the transfer of the PF, you don't need to get it attested by the ex-employer.

The other alternative is to file a complaint against your ex-employers with your local PF commissioner/office (the contact details for all India level are available on the PF site, as mentioned in the previous post).

Sir,

I am working in a software company at the head office. We have submitted the total amount of ESI and PF for other branches (Orissa, Hyderabad, and Delhi) at our head office. Can anybody suggest where the ESI return should be submitted for all branches - at the head office or at the branches?

Thank you.

Dear Ritu,

Firstly, I want to thank you for the time you spent in forwarding me the URL. I was asking you if there is any chance to print/know the current PF account statement that is active.

Nisha,

For the withdrawal of PF amount, you need to submit Form 19 and Form 10 C after two months from the date of leaving the service. There are no documents to be submitted apart from these forms. These two forms need authorization signature from your previous employer.

The amount would be deposited after 30 to 45 days from the date of submission. In case of incomplete forms, the same would be returned to your employer.

Hi,

In my salary slip, the PF account number is AP/HY/38291/2346. Can anyone please let me know which number or how I should know the status of my PF account? I have tried entering the number series on the PF website, but it's not showing any status.

Thanks

Dear Nisha,

In case of resignation after 60 days, you can apply for withdrawal of your PF via Form No. 19 and 10C after getting attestation from the last working employer.

For the transfer of PF after joining the new organization, submit Form 13A (Revised) through the current employer to the relevant PF Office.

I have tried the link of EPFO. It only says that the claim was not received by this office. My documents were submitted by the organization on 29 Sep 2008.

I am unable to get the status of the PF claims. Can someone advise if there is any agency that can expedite the process to get my PF claims faster?
