Hi,
Explaining what 180 and 360 entails requires a lot of writing, but I will attempt to keep it simple. In a 180 appraisal, you are assessed by your superior or your boss, the person who is one level above you. On the other hand, a 360 appraisal involves feedback from all parties, including your superior, your subordinates, and your peers. Essentially, you are reviewed by individuals with whom you interact within an organization. Nowadays, software programs have been developed to assist HR professionals in managing 360 appraisals. You may also be familiar with 540 appraisals, where customers are also involved in evaluating your performance.
