Dear Professional,
The case explains the training and development initiatives of the Godrej group since the late 1990s. In the late 1990s, the Godrej group initiated various training and development programs such as the TQM workshops, 'Parivartan', EVA training, GALLOP, Spark, e-Gyan, English language training, and BPO training.
The case explains each of these programs in detail and the benefits that the group reaped from all these initiatives. The case ends with the shortcomings in Godrej's training and development initiatives.

Altaf

Hi Altaf,
It's great to learn what other companies do to help their employees and themselves therefore.
Since, the case-study really doesn't tell about the sort of responses it received from the trainees, I am afraid, I won't be able to contribute much.
However, yes, having a good training-effectiveness model is an absolute mandate because it:
1. assists the organisation in learning the good or not so good being held.
2. infuses a certain seriousness in the minds of the trainees towards the program!
Please reply if you are categorically looking for more.
