Hi all,
I am Udaya. I am pursuing my MSW in Coimbatore. I would like to transition my career into Human Resources. Currently, I am specializing in HR. Therefore, I aspire to work in HR. What else should I do to achieve this goal? Should I pursue an MBA, or can I opt for training courses such as PeopleSoft HRMS, SAP HR, or GPHR (The Global Professional in Human Resources certification)? I am feeling confused. My ultimate goal is to establish a career in the HR field. Your guidance on how to advance my career would be greatly appreciated.
Awaiting your reply.

Hi All,
I am Udaya. I am pursuing my MSW in Coimbatore. I would like to transition my career into Human Resources. Currently, I am specializing in HR. So, what else should I do to become an HR professional? Should I pursue an MBA or consider training in systems like PeopleSoft HRMS, SAP HR, or GPHR (The Global Professional in Human Resources certification)? I am feeling confused, but my goal is to work in the HR field. Your guidance on how to advance my career would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Udaya,
I am also facing a similar dilemma. I am deeply passionate about HR and aspire to work in an HR role. Despite my efforts, I have not yet secured an HR job. My advice is to gain experience in an HR role, even if the initial salary may not be high. It is essential to assess the company's reputation and the nature of the role. After a year, you can explore better-paying opportunities. Alternatively, consider investing in SAP R3, which is expensive but highly valuable. Feel free to contact me for more information if you are interested.
Best regards,
