Hey dude,
If you chose HR as your career, didn't you have anything in your mind at that time? If yes, then speak out those words. And if HR happened to you by chance, try to figure out why you are still there; it will give you an answer.
I hope the message is sent across.

Dear All,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, HR happened to me accidentally, and I definitely cannot say this in an interview. I did an MBA in HR without a clear understanding of why I chose this field. However, now I am working in the HR department of an outsourcing firm and want to continue pursuing it as my career.
If someone asks you, "Why HR?" How would you answer? Please share your thoughts. Perhaps, I can find an answer from your reply that I have not yet figured out myself.

Dear,
As per my understanding, HR is not a technical knowledge; it's only a person's frame of mind; his qualities to deal with people. It's not necessary that only a professionally qualified person (MBA) can work in HR Dept. Although qualification definitely adds value to the personnel. But it is more an internal service-providing attitude of a person. An organization can work and can grow without an HR dept, but with an HR dept, it is just like creating synergy. 1 + 1 = 11.
This can be one concept behind why HR is important for any organization.
But a person cannot work in the HR dept unless he loves his profession. For me, working in HR is a passion, not a job.

Human Resource Management is an indispensable division of any organization as it revolves around managing human affairs. Moreover, all the specializations of MBA are inter-related.
The reasons behind choosing HR as a specialization can be:
1. I have strong interpersonal skills, which include verbal and non-verbal communication skills, listening skills, empathy, etc.
2. I perform well as part of a team. I am a team player.
3. I have strong social awareness and am extroverted by nature.
4. I have a strong inclination towards problem-solving and crisis management.
5. I possess transferable skills, and as a result, I believe that I can positively contribute towards the development of the organization and not just the HR department. :)
