I want to know the standard IT policy regarding no credit of CL, SL, and EL. Currently, my company has 0.5 SL and 0.5 CL credited on the 1st of every month and 1 EL after 1 month's completion. So, in total, there are 6 SL, 6 CL, and 12 EL. Is this policy correct and followed in the IT industry?

Hi, The IT industry falls under the purview of the Shops and Establishments Act. Therefore, you need to follow the leave policy as stipulated in the Shops and Establishments Act of the respective state your organization belongs to.

Hi,
Leave policies in the IT industry
The IT industry must adhere to leave policies as per the Shops and Establishments Act of the respective states. Any additional leave facilities can be provided as per company standards, but a minimum number of leaves must be given to employees, including Earned Leave (EL), Sick Leave (SL), Maternity Leave (ML), and ESI leaves as per the Act.
Thanks
