I am working with an IT software company as an HR Manager. Please let me know if any of the employees want to take a one-week leave, can he/she club their EL & CL simultaneously? How many CL can be taken within a month?

Leave Policy Considerations
It depends on the company's leave policy. The leave policy of an establishment should align with the leave provisions of the respective state's Shops and Establishments Act. The said leave policy cannot be less beneficial than that mentioned by the respective state's Shops and Establishments Act.
Casual Leave Guidelines
Casual leave is normally not clubbed with other leave but can be availed along with other leave in case of insufficient leave balance. Generally, casual leave is not cashable nor can it be carried forward.

Ours is a Pvt Ltd company from Maharashtra. I want to design a Leave policy for my company. What I know is, "earned leave and maternity leaves" are mandatory as per the Act. Are casual leaves and sick leaves also mandatory? Please guide me.
