Some time back, I visited the Aadhar center to seed my mobile number. During this process, the operator made a typing mistake while entering my date of birth. The next day, I visited again and asked to correct it. The operator filled the form with the correct date of birth, but it was not reflected in my Aadhar. My Aadhar still shows the wrong DOB. Upon further inquiry, I found out from the Aadhar office that a DOB change is allowed only once, and I lost that chance because the operator changed my correct DOB due to a typing mistake. I tried all options at the Aadhar regional office for correction, but they said it cannot be changed now. I lost my chance to change it. Now, EPFO has the correct DOB in their database, and Aadhar has the wrong DOB in their database. Both are not matching. Will it create a problem when withdrawing my PF? If yes, then what is the solution to it.

EPFO and Aadhar Date of Birth Discrepancy
EPFO accepts only the date of birth shown in Aadhar. You can change the DOB as shown in Aadhar through a joint declaration form submitted to EPFO. Changing the DOB in Aadhar will, however, require an authenticated document. You can raise grievance complaints to the Aadhar portal for correction with an appropriate application to them.
