Hi All,

While transferring my old UAN, I received a message "Online claim request can't be processed as the present employer has not made payment in your PF account" on the EPFO portal. Can someone please tell me if that would lead to rejection of form 19/10c withdrawal claims as well? Or is it just the transfer claims that have been barred? It is an old UAN from my first job (2015).

Understanding the Impact of Employer Non-Payment on PF Withdrawal

In the scenario where your present employer has not made the necessary payments into your PF account, it can indeed impact your ability to process withdrawal claims smoothly. Here's how this situation can affect your withdrawal process:

- Transfer Claims vs. Withdrawal Claims: The message you received about the present employer not making payments likely pertains to the inability to process transfer claims at the moment. This doesn't necessarily mean that your withdrawal claims will automatically be rejected.

- Rejection Possibility: While transfer claims may be halted due to non-payment by the employer, withdrawal claims may still be processed by the EPFO. However, if there are significant discrepancies or outstanding payments, your withdrawal claim could potentially face rejection or delays.

- Recommended Steps:
- Contact your current employer: Reach out to your HR or payroll department to inquire about the status of PF payments and seek clarification on the issue.
- Verify details: Ensure that all your personal and employment details are correctly updated in the EPFO records to avoid any processing issues.
- Seek EPFO assistance: If you continue to face challenges with processing withdrawal claims, consider contacting the EPFO directly for guidance and support on resolving the payment-related issue.

It's crucial to address any discrepancies in PF payments promptly to avoid further delays in processing your withdrawal claims. Regular communication with both your employer and the EPFO can help in resolving such issues effectively.
