Section 25 of The Payment of Wages Act, 1936, states that the person responsible for paying wages to individuals employed in a factory or an industrial or other establishment must display a notice with abstracts of the Act and the related rules. This notice should be in English and in the language primarily used by the employees in that establishment, as prescribed by law.

Dear Member, If your establishment is covered under both enactments, i.e., the MW Act and the PW Act, then check which is your appropriate government for reviewing the applicable rules. There, you will find the abstract of the Act and Rules. In general, you may approach your area shop that keeps industrial labor law registers and records to obtain a printed abstract of both Acts for exhibition purposes.
