OT is paid either as per the Shops and Establishment Act of the State or as per the Factories Act. Please read the relevant clause as per your need and act accordingly. The organization may plan (policy) to manage a temporary shortfall of manpower by providing OT, but that is not a permanent solution. Other than extreme emergencies, OT should not be allowed.
