Hello everyone, I have a query regarding my PF. I left my last company by simply resigning. Since I was on probation, I did not complete my notice period. Every month, they deposited zero amounts in my PF account and refused to close my member ID by not providing an exit date. Despite my numerous requests to settle my full and final amount, even offering to pay the one-month notice period, they declined to do so.
Will this situation affect the amount in my current organization's PF if I choose to withdraw the full amount in the future or transfer it?
Please advise me on what options I have to prevent the company from depositing zero amounts into my PF account every month.

Dear Colleague,
There is no connection between F&F and PF accumulation and serving the notice period, etc.
Types of PF Accounts
There are two types of PF Accounts. One is maintained by the Trust (if exemption is obtained by the employer from EPFO) directly maintained by the employer, and the other one is PF remittance to the EPFO every month in the Fund administered by EPFO. You need to first understand what type of Fund it is. No employer can show zero for a live member in contribution. Now:
1. Check your account online by using your UAN. If there is any problem, inform them that they have to set it right, or you are going to report it to the EPFO Enforcement Officer.
2. There is a portal maintained by EPFO for grievance escalation called IGMS of EPFO, which really works very well. If you raise your grievance, then EPFO will intervene, sort it out, and help you. https://epfigms.gov.in/Grievance/GrievanceMaster
3. Once done, you can transfer your funds to your current PF Account with the same UAN.
4. PF is your statutory right, and you should take it seriously. Even if there might be reasonable reasons on the part of the employer for not completing F&F, etc., it is not allowed under the law for them to deprive any employee of PF.
