One of our employees has updated his Aadhar card in the PF member KYC portal, and the employer has approved the same. However, the member has made some corrections in his name, but in the PF member portal, it is showing the OLD name only. When we attempt to update his name through "Modify basic detail," it is not accepting the changes and is displaying an error message stating, "Aadhar is already verified in the unified portal, your details are not editable."

Will the system automatically retrieve the updated data from the Aadhar server, or do we need to take action from our end? How can we proceed with making the correction? Kindly guide me.

once aadhar is verified, it is out of juridiction of employer ....now the employee has to visit the EPF and approach for further correction / rectification

Thank you for your valuable suggestion sir, Now in member portal employee can’t make any correction right. So now they have to approach PF department for further corrections.

Ask the employee to try once with this link. If it accepts the data, then the submission would get displayed on the employer portal for DSC verification.

Hi, There is an issue that the EPFO portal has stored the employee name as . In this case too, he has to send the name change joint correction form with the employer ?? (Adhaar is already verified)

Hello,

My father's name and date of birth were wrongly mentioned in my PF account. After submitting my 10th Certificate, the date of birth is corrected, but my father's name is still incorrect, whereas my Aadhar and PAN card have been verified. What are the options I have? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Sure, here is the corrected version of the text:

@Nair,

Please submit the joint declaration along with the Class X admit card again, duly attested by yourself and countersigned by the employer. The declaration should state the correct name of the father as per the document. This needs to be physically submitted to the EPF office.

The department will process it within 3 weeks.
