Hi fellow fraternity,

I would like to ask for help regarding an L&D dashboard. It's about a manufacturing industry with 7 units and a workforce of 2300+ comprising workers and management staff. Learning Excel to create one is a lengthy process. I am looking for any references on dashboards to use as a template. The parameters would include man-days, personnel, programs, unit-wise and program-wise costs incurred, external/internal trainers, feedback and evaluation, effectiveness, and ROI.

Thanks in advance.

As an HR professional, it is very important that you learn basic Excel and create a dashboard that is applicable to your organization. How can another company's dashboard be relevant in your company? If you search this forum, there are already enough samples for you to draw inspiration from.

Learningnovo, thank you for the valuable suggestion. How thoughtful it might be to understand the question as I clearly mentioned that learning to make a dashboard in Excel is a long process, not learning Excel as a package.

As far as the other comment is concerned, I have asked for a reference on what else can be looked into while making the dashboards for my reference. Being a first-timer, I cannot create a dashboard from scratch; it takes a couple of days. I never meant to copy the dashboards, but yes, I can follow the lines they use to make them interactive.

Instead of typing lewd comments, you could have attached some links to help me with the task at hand. I hope that you reflect before you speak and offer constructive feedback to enhance interactions.

Taking help is never an issue, and any facilitator always does the same by providing and asking. If someone doesn't believe in it, then it goes against Training Core Rules. Anyhow, I am attaching an Excel spreadsheet for your reference. In case you need to use it, feel free to do so. Meanwhile, develop your Excel skills to customize it further and revert with the modified and updated version. That's how growth happens.

Kindly let me know if I could be of any other assistance.

After reading Saurabh's post, I appreciate his helpful gesture and would also like to highlight the importance of using correct grammar and sentence construction in professional forums. Asking for help is never an issue, and any facilitator always does the same by providing and asking for assistance. If someone does not believe in it, then it goes against Training Core Values.
